Happy 2022 Chicago Southsiders,

It's a new year, and it's time to take more action towards our goals. If you haven't started thinking about the type of life you want to create for yourself in 2022, here are 23 ideas to help you kick off the New Year.

Since we launched the Chicago Southsider in August, we've been able to highlight many emerging and experienced entrepreneurs on the South Side of Chicago. We also paid tribute to some of the leaders we lost in 2021. In 2022, we are going all the way and helping our community in new ways.

Here are some goals we aim to accomplish:

  • Train and hire more individuals on the South Side of Chicago

  • Provide internship opportunities for students seeking to build their resume and learn digital skills

  • Showcase more entrepreneurs and small businesses on the South Side of Chicago

  • Develop guides that showcase the best of Chicago's South Side

  • Share more job opportunities and resources that will allow us to reinvest in our community

  • Go behind the scenes and memorialize the history of Chicago's South Side

We need your help to make this happen. Our goal is to transform the narrative of Chicago's South Side and bring wealth back into our community. Can you help us make this vision a reality? You can become an annual subscriber by going to Chicagosouthsider.bulletin.com/subscribe. This will help us build a sustainable platform and allow us to hire more people committed to rebuilding our community. Stay tuned for our Black History Month special that we are launching in February!

Now, it's time to unwrap your goals and intentions for 2022. Here are some questions to ask yourself as you prepare to make 2022 your best year yet:

  • What are your intentions for 2022?

  • What do you need to do more of to get you from where you are to where you want to be?

  • What matters most to you and how will you demonstrate that throughout 2022?

  • What are you leaving behind in 2021?

  • What are you looking forward to in 2022?

If you are interested in featuring local entrepreneurs on Chicago's South Side, let us know. Send us your story idea, short bio, and a statement of interest. Let us know why you are interested in being a community contributor and how often you would like to contribute. All emails should be sent to support@ceounlimitedfirm.com.

Thank you again for your support. Cheers to a prosperous 2022! Please consider becoming an annual subscriber today to help us continue to showcase the best of Chicago's Southside.
