While you are learning more about the achievements of Black leaders in history, it's also important to think about your legacy. What do you want to be known for? How do you want to contribute to the world? What are you doing now to make the world better than you found it?
Chicago Southsider was launched in August 2021 to showcase the best of Chicago's South Side and unwrap the stories that can't be found in mainstream media.

We celebrated the life of CPA and founding member of National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), James Hill, Jr. His memorial service was held on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Read more about Mr. Hill's life here if you need a boost of motivation to achieve your next level of success.

Share more job opportunities and resources that will allow us to reinvest in our community
Go behind the scenes and memorialize the history of Chicago's South Side
