Things to Do This Week in Chicago | April 2nd - April 9th

Happy April! Let's support local businesses this month as we spring into Q2.

Charlene Rhinehart

Apr 2

Hello there!

It's April. Wow! One quarter down and three more to go to achieve our goals.

One of my goals for this quarter is to boost the local economy by supporting more businesses that don't get the attention they deserve. I'm going to use my paycheck to circulate more dollars in my community, and I'll be sharing my journey on Facebook.

What are your favorite businesses on the South Side of Chicago? Comment below and let us know. We would love to support!

Chicago Southsider released The Ultimate Scholarship Guide and Six-Figure Side Gigs. We also released grant opportunities to help creators and entrepreneurs attract more dollars for their ventures. Pass it on and share with a friend.

If you would like to support the work we do at Chicago Southsider, please consider an annual subscription. This will allow me to avoid getting up at 2am to get free gas so that I can cover stories:) Thanks for keeping me alive out here!

Chicago Restaurant Week is happening now. Get deals at your favorite restaurants until April 10. If you find any good restaurants that everyone else should know about, let us know.

Let's move into the events for the week. Talk soon!
